Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle (slight Shounen Ai)

"Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicle (ツバサ-RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE- ,Tsubasa -Rezaboa Kuronikuru-?), is an ongoing manga series by Clamp. It is currently being serialized in Weekly Shōnen Magazine.

Sakura is the princess of Clow Country (The Country of the Eternal Tower), which is ruled by her older brother, King Tōya. Her childhood friend Syaoran is a young archaeologist. Sakura is revealed to have strange powers when she has a vision of a mysterious symbol. Meanwhile, Syaoran discovers the same symbol at the ruins he is excavating. He sees Sakura standing on the symbol on the ground. Ghostly wings appear on her back and a mysterious force begins to pull her into the walls of the ruins. Syaoran rescues her in time, but her wings disintegrate into feathers, which are scattered across dimensions. The High Priest of Clow Kingdom, Yukito, immediately realizes that Sakura's "feathers" were the manifestation of her soul and memories; without them, she will die. In order to save Sakura, Syaoran must journey to retrieve her wings' feathers, the fragments of her memories."

This manga never cease to amaze me. So far, CLAMP has managed to surprise and confuse alot of minds as the plot thickens but one thing is for sure: The art and plot developments are AMAZING.

And who can resist 'daww'ing at Mokona??

I put a Shounen Ai warning on this, seeing as CLAMP have a known reputation for drawing Shounen ai/ yaoi manga/doujinshi. There are lots of Shounen ai hints in the manga, but they are very slight (For non-yaoi shippers. Because we yaoi lovers seem to spot it everywhere )

The manga goes far beyond the anime - mostly because the anime messed up the order in the plot by adding fillers where there should be an importaint turning point.

Further more: This manga actually crosses over with XXXHOLiC and Card Captor Sakura! >w< Which makes it even greater!

Also, it is recomended that you also read XXXHOLiC in order to understand some of the latest developments. BUT! That isn't a must XP

Gyaaah~ >w< I just love CLAMP's artwork. I haven't read/ seen that much of CLAMPs' works, but I've seen as much as Toky Babylon, X, Chobits, CCS and RG Veda. I just love the way they make such deep deep plots that in the end have very simple solutions XD, CLAMP FTW!
